MAS-H2B provides comprehensive H2-B services to seasonal employers for a fee which ranges from $4,100 to $5,300, depending on the season and lead time given by the employer.
In any case, MAS-H2B fees include the $1,470 of government fees and up to $500 for the required help-wanted advertising. Watch out for hidden charges and less than comprehensive services from other providers.
The comprehensive basic service package includes coordinating recruitment, visa issuance and transportation for up to 10 Mexican workers. Charges for larger numbers of workers or for workers from countries other than Mexico are disclosed up front.
MAS-H2B’s involvement in the multi-step government application process is summarized as follows:
- Developing and submitting appropriate application materials to the state employment security agency (Job Service) and DOL office responsible for issuing labor certifications for the specific employer and job.
- Coordinating local recruitment with the employer and the Job Service.
- Developing appropriate documentation of employer requirements and employment terms for use by agents we select to recruit foreign workers. Coordinating with agents in Mexico for the recruitment, consular presentation and transportation of up to 10 workers.
- Filing for visa petition approval by the CIS.
- Coordinating visa issuance by the U.S. State Department Consulate or Embassy in the workers’ country of origin.
